Hey Seeders, just wanted to keep you in the loop on whats been happening around here these days. We've had a little setback in the production of the new album. Unfortunately, our studio "Owensound" is currently in the process of moving to a new location so we have about a month to chill before we get the big mixing machine ball rolling again. It's still sounding wicked in there and we know that alot of people have been asking for the disc, but be patient, it will come..
Hey all, just a quick update to keep everyone in the loop on whats been happening. The engineers at the studio have been cleaning up the tracks for the upcoming album and the tunes are sounding real solid, there's a few background effects and vocals left to record but other than that, all the tracks are coming together. Were pumped about finishing up this disc and look forward to sending the finished songs off for duplication. The team we have has done an amazing job honing our style and capturing the live seed sound. We should have a pre-mastered track available here for you very soon, I'll make another post with a link so you can hear how the sound has developed.
Hey Seeders, the band has finished up recording all our tracks for the upcoming CD and now the technical magic is well underway. Tim and our crew have started to mixdown the tracks and so far all our tunes are sounding very kewl. The guys in the band are very happy with how the recording process went and look forward to hearing the end result. The mixdown is always the best part, hearing each instrument blended to perfection and EQ'd just right... It's still exciting for us and we should be ready to send the tracks for duplication in the near future.
The band also did a photo shoot recently for the album, Kevin from kpix.ca took some excellent shots of us in a local Edmonton cemetery just behind the studio. We shouldn't have a problem finding a photo for the disc since alot of the shots turned out really good. Thanks Kevin, you rock! Until next time.
Hey all, just wanted to keep everyone in the loop on whats been happening latley at the studio. First off, Robin finished up his guitar parts for the album in fine fashion last week, ripping some wicked solos out and laying down solid tracks. Alot of ideas came out from "the peanut gallery" in the control room and it'll be interesting to hear what they all sound like mixed to perfection. Robin played remarkable and it will definitly show once the mixing begins.
I started singing the lead vocals last weekend and were at about 50% complete so far for the 9 songs. Jinting has been an amazing help and she makes sure I sing in key and time. Tonight were going to finish "Betrayed The Trust" and then start "Holiday Faraway", I should jet, time to get some dinner down range, until next time.
Hey Seeders! I just finished uploading some new photo's of us in the studio, you can check them out under the photo's tab on the left. As for the studio, things are going wicked, the songs are sounding great, the guys are comfortable and we have an excellent engineering team making sure shit is played right and in key. The recording is on schedule and we might have a new song available to download here real soon so keep checkin back.
