Hey all, just wanted to drop a quick line to let you know we've finished up the bass tracks this week, The Dragon (Ray), always on fire, nailed song after song bringing them to life with hammerin bass and depth. It's always wicked to hear the music note for note once another instrument is added.
I'll be heading into the studio next to lay down some guitar parts, it'll be the first time recording with the Randall/Boss setup so I'm curious as to how it's going to come through. We have an excellent team behind this project so I have no doubt it will kick some serious shiznit. I'll try and add some pics of Ray in the studio soon...Ttyl.
Hey all, we finished up our second night in the studio laying down drum tracks for "Reality", "Pharoah", My Hell" & "Left Behind", Glen's kit is sounding awesome and he played super tight, it's was obvious he came to play. "It's like day and night from the other day," Enrico said. Which was kewl, Glen was prepared and it showed. We should have the rest of the drum tracks finished earlier next week then Ray is stepping up to the plate to lay down some bass grooves.
The band has a little dilema though, we haven't decided on a title or cover for the CD yet so if you have some ideas please send them in. We recently recieved an email from Shauna in Australia who suggested a few cool ones, which got us thinking. More heads are better than one, so we want to know what you think. Send your ideas to rick2006@badseed.ca Thanks.
Bed Tracks Complete...

Our first session in the studio went very well, the band managed to lay down all nine bed tracks in just over three hours. The atmosphere at Owensound hasn't changed since last year which is good, the studio is still very personable and comfortable, except for the old swivel chair. With the help of our engineers, Tim & Enricho, the songs have a good feel and tempo's are locked in. Now, Glen can lay down the drum tracks and we build from there. Were looking forward to the next session and we will try and keep you updated often.
P.S. If anyone has any photo's from The Dungeon party could you send them to me via email, that would be most excellent. We want to thank everyone again for coming out to support us that night, it was an excellent crowd and without you none of this would be possible, your support does not go unnoticed.
I'll try and update the site more now that weve started recording. Talk to you next week-end, maybe it will stop snowing in Edmonton so we can all get started on summer. Cheers!
Our jam party in The Dungeon went off without a hitch, we kicked it off around 8:30 with a kickin first set opening with "Pharoah". Then, we mixed in some old school attitude and did "Left Behind" while partying our way into the night. The food was taken care of by our Number#1 Fan Kate, she always does an amazing job, everything was perfect, Thank You so much... I really liked the ham dip thing with Triskits...
We ended with "Parades" and "My Hell" then Eternal Entity played a few songs to kick shit up. "Right In The Eye" followed with some Motley Crue tunes in fine fashion and as usual, Staz had some serious chops Saturday night. The Jammers, Terry, Gayle, Dukester & Mr.Downtown Brown nailed some old classics. We finished off with "Holiday Faraway" and then "Betrayed". All the guys in the band had a wicked time, we want to Thank Everyone who came out to support us, it was a good chance to see all our friends before we head into the studio. The crowd couldn't have been better. Thanks again and hopefully we'll have a new video available on the website soon of the show.
April 13th, It Begins..

Hey All, the band is super pumped and ready to step into the studio to begin recording our CD. It's been a long year working out the kinks in the music and preparing for our debut DISC but we believe the outcome will be most excellent. Cory Johnson (our producer) will be leading the project over at Owensound Studios here in Edmonton and he always ensures each note is in key and where it's supposed to be in the songs. Sony recording artist, Jinting will be helping us with our vocals and harmonies, she is an amazing singer and has the knack to get the best out of the band vocally. We are looking forward to hearing our music crisp and rippin.
Just a reminder for everyone, Saturday March 31st were having a little get together in The Dungeon (our rehearsal space), so if you want to come and listen to our music before we record nows the chance. We will be playing a couple sets and inviting other jammers on stage to play also. Email or call anyone from the band to get your invite.
