The Coming Months...
22 Jun 2006, Posted by Rick.
The band will be taking some away from playing live in order to focus on our own sound and music. We've managed to pull together three originals that are still in pre-production and available here on the site however we would like to continue to develop as a band to get the CD finished. The guys will be experimenting with various writing processes to come up with the best system and product.

We want to thank everyone who has supported us over the past two years, you have been awesome and we look forward to inviting you back to The Dungeon to have a listen at our new songs when there ready. Cheers!

All Ages Night Rocked!!

First things first, we would to thank Kate for all her hard work in making the All Ages Show a huge success, Kate took control and setup The Dungeon in fine fashion, we totally appreciate it Kate and without your support it just wouldn't be the same.

Our first "All Ages Show" was alot of fun, the band played really well together and a comfortable groove strolled along into the evening. We had a good crowd surrounded by friends plus a Birthday to celebrate (Robyn turned 9 I think, check out the pics). We would like to thank everyone for showing up, Colin, Rita, Jacquelyn & Robyn, Joe, Nancy, Cindy, Dallas and the gang, Kevin & Trina and Serge sporting his "Face First" T-Shirt.

Considering it was Game #3 for the Oilers, (they won 2-1 over the Canes). A special Thanks goes out to Kevin from www.kpix.ca for shooting some excellent photos throughout the evening, take some time to visit his site. The band will be taking the next couple of months off in order to work on the CD, we have fours songs to go and plan on working hard to ensure a quality product. Oh another thing, take some time to sign up for the Forums and leave us a message, we could use some feedback or requests on tunes you would like to hear us play.

All Ages Show!
10 Jun 2006, Posted by Rick.
The All Ages Show is scheduled for tonight, June 10th. If you want to come to The Dungeon, either email rick@badseed.ca or contact anyone from the band for the details. The show kicks off around 8 pm and there will be no smoking in The Dungeon during this event since there will be some younger rockers present.

It's game #3 for the Oilers and were hoping they can pull it off battling back down in the series by two games. We've decided not to play The Urban Lounge on June 19th, after reviewing the DVD we will be taking the summer months to re-vamp our sets and work on our own music. This is the prime time to tackle the originals and we look forward to hearing what comes from July and August. Hope to see you guys out tonight!!

Let There Be Rock!!

The Urban Lounge proved to be a successfull event, for a Thursday gig setup went off without a hitch and was well worth the trip to Whyte Ave. The band ended up playing two sets and a quick encore in order to get home early since it was a school nite an all. We played all our originals and have the complete night on video in order to see exactly where the band needs to make some changes in order to perfect the sound and performance. We want to thank all of our fans who came out first off, without you in the audience it wouldn't have been the same. Also, special thanks and a shout out to Kevin the soundman, Paul who gave us the chance to roll the equipment in the club and everyone else who supported us.

We really had a great time and have been invited back to play Game 7 of the Stanley Cup on June 19th if it goes to a game seven. Were really looking forward to the Whyte avenue mayhem and the chance for a packed club to experience the Seed sound and show. If your not busy on June 19th you should make plans to watch the game at The Urban Lounge, loads of big screen TV's and great food. Cya there!

URBAN LOUNGE TONIGHT!!
01 Jun 2006, Posted by Rick.
The band is pumped up for tonights show and are expecting a pretty good crowd considering it's a school night. We plan on kicking things off around 10 pm. The Urban Lounge is located a half a block south of Whyte avenue in Edmonton and boastes excellent sound and stage. We'll be recording this show and should have some video clips available for download once the editing is complete so keep checking back to the site for updates.

The writing process continues in The Dungeon and as time goes by the band is becoming more creative and versatile with our music. Our newest song "Pharoah" is in the rotation and we would appreciate your comments on it. Hope to see you there, lets do some Tequila! Also, for those interested in the All Ages Show, it will be next Saturday June 10th in The Dungeon. Please contact Glen or myself if your interested in going.
