This weekend we hit JJ's Pub in Edmonton and scored both nights with seed supporters filling the club. Friday we celebrated Troy's birthday and witnessed some amazing dance moves from his gang and the odd flash from some young bunny! Saturday night however turned insane, the sound was wicked with Don Joyce working the board and ensuring everything went smooth technically and the sauce flowed thanks to Trisha & Lauren. The seed sticker was in full effect with alot of young ladies sticking it pretty much anywhere it would fit, take some time to view the pics there's a nice variety from both nights, thanks to everyone who came out, you all ROCK! Our next show is in March at the Blind Pig in St.Albert. Hope to see you there.
Were off to rock it up at JJ's this weekend, Feb 4th & 5th. The last time we played a solid crowd turned up and were hoping for a repeat performance. I'm looking forward to the show since it will the first time Don Joyce (Talent Promoter/Sounddood) will handle sound and also hear our some of our new material.
Weve been cracking away with some new tunes over the past few weeks, our first original "Left Behind" is almost finished and were adding a few covers as well, Domino by Kiss, Stereo by The Watchmen and Everything is Automatic by Matthew Good Band. Ray "The Dragon" lets loose on Automatic and does a superb job, giving me a break on vox during one of the sets.
If you have nothing planned this weekend, come down to JJ's, there's no cover and we kick things off around 10 pm. 118 ave - St.Albert Trail in Edmonton. Hope to pop a couple tequilas back with yah!
Well well well, where do I start. Saturday night was in one word "Unfuckinbelievable". A total turnaround from Friday as far as sound and production goes, the band played with high energy and everything seemed to be in our favour. With a packed standing room only house the seed had the dance floor rockin and the club hoppin. The last night I saw that many people in Yesterdays was New Years 2003, Wow! Akrim (the owner) had to come out of the office to help at the bar it was that packed.
I would like to start by thanking everyone who came out from the base (about 40 people), awesome support, as well as The Dragon's Mexico gang, the Cote family with friends and everyone else from St.Albert who wandered in from the bitter cold to see us. I would have to say there were about 200 people there, very hard to walk around between sets but well worth it. We had a few birthdays last night to, Happy Birthday shouts to, Kate, Amber & Shad! We couldnt decide on just one Seedgirl so were putting up two from Saturday night. Thanks Zena & Brenda! Our next show is at JJ's Pub on February 4th & 5th, hope to see you there.

St Albert Welcomes The Seed!
11 Jan 2005, Posted by Rick.
As I pursue possible seed opportunity in the community of St.Albert I begin to realize that the city of about 50,000 is primarily full of rockers and shockers. The Blind Pig Pub (a new club for the band) is welcoming the guys on March 18/19 weekend one day before St.Patties Day. The pub is personable and has a solid sound with the stage set in a corner projecting an even array of waves. We look forward to the show.
This weekend, the band is playing Yesterday's Pub also in St.Albert and have been preparing some new material to shake things up a bit adding an old classic, Hungry Like The Wold by Duran Duran,a huge hit Away From The Sun by 3 Doors Down and Stereo by the Watchmen. Depending on the mood and the amount of tequila's which go down the pipes, the show should be a killer and the guys won't be holding anything back. Come check us out, Yesterdays is located across from the casino on Beudreau road and boasts and excellent menu and service. Were also looking for the next SeedGirl to add to the collection, so ladies, lets see some high thongs in tight jeans or short skirts, the weather is supposed to be really chilly though so make sure you dress warm. Cya There!
What an event, last night's News Years Bash in The Dungeon was a total success, I want to thank the ladies for organizing the party and handling all the decorations & food, the Dungeon looked sweet and you did an awesome job. I think the cheese ball went over the best but the mexican dip seemed to help fill a void within. I want to also thank everyone who showed up to celebrate the coming of 2005 with the band, we hoped you enjoyed yourself, we had a great time.
The band played 3 solid sets of tunage with the volume on eleven and didnt stop until two in the morning adding a couple of new songs to the setlist, Stereo by The Watchmen & Everything Is Automatic by Matthew Good. The Dragon sang his version of New Orleans which seem to be the extended extended version lasting near 20 minutes. As well, Gayle and I sang Broken by Seether w/Amy Lee on the acoustic, and from what I was told, it sounded good. Maybe something to keep in the back pocket for special occasions.
